Terms of Use

The rules for using HireMe, what HireMe does and what it doesn't promise.

    Agreeing to These Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and HireMe Corporation ("HireMe", "we" or "us"), the company that operates HireMe. They apply when you use the HireMe website or service. When you create a HireMe account, we'll ask you to confirm that you agree to them. By using the website, you also agree to them. If you use HireMe for an employer, you agree on the employer's behalf and confirm that you're allowed to. If you don't agree, please don't use HireMe.

    Who Can Use HireMe

You must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these terms. Some roles have a higher minimum age set by law, and people under 18 can't do some kinds of work. HireMe follows state and federal law and won't refer you to a role the law doesn't allow at your age. HireMe helps with recruiting and doesn't hire you itself, so the employer that hires you is responsible for following the laws on employing workers under 18. Employers must be real businesses or organizations hiring for real roles.

    Your Account

    • Keep your sign-in details private, and don't share your account.
    • Keep your information accurate and up to date.
    • Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
    • You're responsible for what happens under your account.

    Messages from HireMe

We'll send you messages about your account and the service by email, in the service and, if you give us your phone number, by phone or text. These messages count as written notice. You can stop optional messages at any time, but we'll still send the messages we need to about your account.

    What HireMe Does

HireMe helps job seekers build a Career Passport, explore career paths, training and resources, and connect with participating employers for placement opportunities. Account managers help coordinate support. Employers make final hiring decisions.

HireMe is not the employer of the job seekers it introduces. HireMe and its account managers don't give legal, immigration, tax or financial advice. If you need that kind of help, we can point you to organizations that may be able to help.

    What HireMe doesn't promise

HireMe does not guarantee employment, interviews, training admission, apprenticeship acceptance, credential approval, funding or support outcomes. Opportunities and resources depend on participating employers and partners, eligibility, location and capacity.

    Free for Job Seekers

HireMe is free for job seekers. You are not charged to build a Career Passport, work with an account manager or be considered for placement opportunities. Employers pay HireMe for its services under their own agreement with HireMe.

    For Employers

Services for employers, including pricing and HireMe's 30-day promise, are set out in a separate written agreement. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement controls. Employers agree to:

    • Use candidate information only to consider candidates for their roles.
    • Follow equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination laws.
    • Not ask HireMe to screen, rank or refer candidates based on a characteristic protected by law.
    • Keep candidate information confidential and protect it.
    • Make their own hiring decisions and complete any checks that the law or the role requires.
    • Follow the laws on employing workers under 18, including any certificate the state requires and limits on duties and hours.

    Equal Opportunity

HireMe connects people with opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We don't screen, rank, refer or turn away candidates because of these characteristics, and we won't follow a request to do so. Where the law sets a requirement for a role, such as a minimum age, we follow it. If you need an accommodation to use HireMe because of a disability, contact us and we'll work with you.

    Using HireMe Fairly

    When you use HireMe, don't:

    • Give false information or pretend to be someone else.
    • Use other people's information without permission, or for anything other than hiring and career purposes.
    • Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.
    • Copy, scrape or collect information from HireMe by automated means.
    • Try to get around security, or reach information you aren't allowed to see.
    • Upload anything harmful, such as malware.
    • Use HireMe for anything unlawful.

    Your Information and Content

You own the information you add to HireMe. You give HireMe permission to store, use and share it as needed to provide and improve the service, including showing it to participating employers within your visibility settings, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your information is deleted, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons. You confirm that what you add is accurate and that you have the right to share it.

    AI Features

Diana and HireMe's other AI features help organize information and explain options. AI can make mistakes, so review what it produces before you rely on it. AI does not make hiring, enrollment, credential, benefits, legal or support decisions. See AI Use.

    Other Organizations and Links

HireMe may point you to employers, training programs and resource providers that HireMe doesn't run. Their services, terms and decisions are their own.

    HireMe's Name and Content

The HireMe name, logo, website and service design belong to HireMe. Please don't use them without permission.

    Disclaimers

HireMe is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, HireMe makes no promises beyond those in these terms, and doesn't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Some states don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

    Limits on Liability

To the extent the law allows, HireMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost wages or lost profits, or for decisions made by employers, training programs or other organizations. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any other liability, or any right you have under consumer protection laws, that the law doesn't allow to be limited or waived.

    Ending Your Use

You can stop using HireMe at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

    Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with its date and let you know before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using HireMe after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply. For a significant change, we may ask you to agree again.

    Language of These Terms

These terms are available in English and Spanish, and both versions are meant to say the same thing. If they differ, the version in the language you used when you agreed to them controls.

    Other Legal Terms

These terms, the Privacy Policy and any separate agreement you sign with HireMe are the whole agreement between you and HireMe about the service. If a court finds that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer your rights under these terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer ours if HireMe's business changes hands.
