Privacy Policy

What HireMe collects, how we use it, what employers can see and the choices you have.

    Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the HireMe website and the HireMe service, including the Career Passport, Diana (HireMe's AI guide), account manager support and the tools employers use to review candidates. "HireMe", "we" and "us" mean HireMe Corporation, the company that operates HireMe. "You" means anyone who visits the site or uses the service, whether you're looking for work or hiring.

    Information We Collect

    Information you give us

    • Your name and contact details, such as email address and phone number.
    • Your Career Passport: work history, skills, training, education, licenses, certifications and goals.
    • Your preferences, such as the kind of work you want, where you want to work and your preferred language.
    • Support needs you choose to share, such as transportation, childcare, the cost of training or paperwork.
    • Information that may be sensitive, if you choose to share it, such as your work authorization status, a health condition or disability you tell us about so we can arrange support, or your experience as a victim of a crime.
    • A profile photo, if you add one.
    • Documents you upload, such as a resume or a copy of a certification.
    • Messages you send us through the site's forms, by email or in the service.

    Information from employers

Company name, contact details, the roles being hired for and their requirements, and hiring decisions recorded in the service.

Information collected when you use the site

Like most websites, our systems and service providers may record basic technical information, such as your IP address, your device and browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time of a visit. Pages load fonts and code from outside services (Google Fonts, cdnjs and jsDelivr), which receive this kind of information when a page opens. Your language choice is saved in your browser so the site opens in that language next time. The site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Because we don't track you across other websites, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.

    How We Use Information

    • To build and keep your Career Passport.
    • To explain possible career paths, training and resources that fit your experience and goals.
    • To connect job seekers with participating employers for placement opportunities.
    • To use AI tools that help organize your information, prepare summaries and suggest options for a person to review.
    • To let your account manager coordinate your support.
    • To answer messages, sign-ups and requests.
    • To contact you by email, phone or text about your account, your support and opportunities you may want.
    • To run, protect and improve HireMe.
    • To meet our legal obligations.

We don't use protected characteristics, such as race, religion, sex, age or disability, to match or recommend people, except where the law sets a requirement for a role, such as a minimum age.

    What Employers Can See

You control which supported profile categories appear in employer views. These settings apply to all employer views, not separately to each employer.

Support tasks, barriers and case notes are not included in employer views. Authorized HireMe staff may use them to coordinate your support.

Employers make final hiring decisions. When an employer considers you for a role, they see the information your settings allow.

    How We Share Information

    • With participating employers, as described above and within your visibility settings.
    • With service providers who help us run HireMe, such as hosting, email, form delivery and AI providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us. Today these include Vercel, which hosts this website; Google, which handles our website forms, email and storage; and AI providers such as Anthropic, Google and OpenAI.
    • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of people and of HireMe.
    • If HireMe's business changes hands, such as in a merger or sale, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We don't use personal information for targeted advertising. We don't share your mobile number or your permission to receive text messages with other companies for their marketing.

    AI and Your Information

Diana, HireMe's AI guide, uses the information you provide to help build your Career Passport and explain your options. AI does not make hiring decisions. The AI Use page explains what AI does and doesn't do at HireMe.

    Your Choices and Rights

    • Review and update your Career Passport and your visibility settings at any time.
    • Ask for a copy of your information, including in a format you can take with you.
    • Ask us to correct information that's wrong, or to delete your information.
    • Ask for a list of the specific companies, other than our service providers, that we've shared your information with.
    • Take back a permission you gave us, such as permission to use sensitive information.
    • Stop receiving optional emails by using the unsubscribe link in them, and stop text messages by replying STOP.

    How to Make a Request

Email hello@hireme.global with "Privacy request" in the subject line, or use the contact form. Someone you authorize can also make a request for you. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. We'll respond within 45 days, and if we need more time, we'll tell you why.

    If We Say No

If we can't do what you asked, we'll explain why. You can appeal by replying to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject line, and we'll respond within 45 days. If you're not satisfied with the result, you can contact your state's attorney general.

We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Some records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons, so a request may not remove every record right away.

    How Long We Keep Information

We keep information while your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service, and as required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. You can ask us to delete your Career Passport at any time.

    Security

HireMe uses role and organization checks to control who can see what, and records important actions for review. No system is completely secure. The Security page explains how HireMe protects information.

    Children

HireMe is for people 16 and older. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think someone under 16 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with its date, and if a change is significant we'll let you know before it takes effect. If we want to use information we already have in a significantly different way, we'll ask for your permission first.

    Contact Us

Questions or requests about your information: email hello@hireme.global or use the contact form. Please don't send passwords, identity documents or private case details by email.
